Choose Joy

Meet Guildstreet’s feature business: Sincerely Joie

Finding her joy has always been Amanda Delos Reyes' mission. When she found herself feeling restless in a typical 9-5 it pushed her to lean into a creative side hustle, but pursuing her passions wasn’t destined to be a part time endeavor.

Coming from an oil and gas background, Amanda has truly spread her wings since the pandemic, embarking on an entrepreneurial journey that has allowed her to find her joy full time. Her passion for purposeful design and bespoke branding isn’t just a “side hustle” - it’s a way of life!

The creative pursuit

Amanda’s journey is driven by a desire to help small business owners everywhere. She puts seven years of corporate marketing experience to good use by creating intentional designs and narratives that capture the essence of each business and tell their unique story. She believes that everyone deserves a stand out logo and beautifully designed website that they want to show off.

So what’s her secret? She takes on your dream as her own. Her soulful designs are crafted to be timeless but current, easily immersive and a pleasure to navigate. Her expertise ranges from complete brand design and strategy to social media management to help you build your community.

Successes

Amanda attributes her high points to the community she’s been able to build with like minded individuals, through Sincerely Joie. “I’ve realized my passion is rooted in helping other small business owners, as a small business owner myself.” She also counts overcoming imposter syndrome (common amongst entrepreneurs) as a win in her books.

Challenges

The highs have accompanied lows. The reality of being a small business owner brought with it new territory. “There were unknowns and a constant worry of if I would have enough clients to sustain my lifestyle.” She also admits that at times she didn’t know where to start.

Despite the struggles of creating a brand, Amanda has seen growth to the point that she can seek out like minded clients. She’s had to learn how to say no to partnerships that didn’t align with her work and in turn can foster the community that has made her work so rewarding.

Aside from working on the digital side, Amanda is also a calligrapher and retired jewelry designer. You can find her practicing her craft or training her rescue pup, Benny!
